Floor-Ballet Class

Injured dancers often use "floor barre" classes to while recuperating and healing.  Such classes allow the dancers to maintain flexibility and strength, in a non-weight-bearing format that avoids stressing their injury.  Floor-based ballet classes are also great if you've been away from ballet class for a while, and want to ease your muscles and joints back into the routine.

The Scottish Ballet has a nice follow-along floor-based ballet class for toning, stretching and energizing.  Roll out your favorite exercise mat and give it a try!
