Everyday Beginner Barre with Ballet Misfit

Here's a nice 30 minute absolute beginner everyday barre from Thuan at Ballet Misfit.  It doesn't take too long, so it's great for days when you want to squeeze in a quick ballet fix.  The barre includes just some basics -- plies, tendu from first position, tendu plus degage from fifth position, ronde de jambe, developpe, and finally grand battement with frappe.   But it’s exactly what you need, for a short, focused ballet barre.

I really appreciate Thuan's authenticity and her enthusiasm for making ballet accessible to every-day folks.  She calls herself "just your average adult dancer," but I think what she has done with her YouTube channel is pretty extraordinary.

KEEP IT SAFE:  As always, feel free to modify or skip any elements that are not right for your body.  You can certainly skip the high leg extension stretch she does in the ronde de jambe combination.
