Serenade Deconstructed

Serendipitously, Kathryn Morgan just released a"deconstruction" for George Balanchine's "Serenade."  Join her as she talks you through the First Movement of Balanchine's iconic ballet.  As a former New York City Ballet soloist who performed this ballet, she takes you inside the technique, artistry, and stories behind Balanchine's brilliant choreography.  The video she features is from the company's 2023 performance in Madrid, the full performance of which is currently available at the PBS Great Performances website (in a higher-resolution format than the one in my earlier post).  Check out Kathryn's video for an inside look and a fascinating dancer's perspective.
