Great 15-Minute Core Series

I'm really liking this 15-minute focused core series, from Yoga with Adriene.  It's a great way to activate and awaken the muscles around your trunk and hips that stabilize and support your spine and pelvis -- your "core" muscles, which include your abs, obliques, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, and diaphragm, and which work together to provide a stable foundation for your body's movements.

Some of these movements will be familiar to you, from our class.   But I really like how Adriene has connected them into a focused, intentional, gentle workout for your core.

A strong core is crucial for posture, balance, and a wide range of physical activities, including ballet. When your core is strong, everything falls into place. This mindful session invites you to deepen your connection to your center, cultivate stability from within, and move with greater awareness. Regular core work goes a long way, supporting balance and ease in all that you do.

Adriene's soothing voice has a way of easing you into calm. Her tranquil, grounded manner makes each practice feel welcoming and gentle, like a peaceful pause carved out just for you.  Enjoy!
